The hole that attaches to the harp and holds the shade up is very deep in the lamp, like four inches instead of at the top of the shade as they are usually. They are pretty useless for most lamps.

pictures did not show inside of shade...wrong type. if the online pictures would have shown the inside of the shade I would not have purchased them to begin with, would have gone for a different type...returned purchase to store

I purchased the shade to go with a polished pewter/silver lamp base. The gray color compliments the color of the base, and creates a very warm ambiance to a room.
