I have had this thing for about a year now use it all the time love it. Works way better on 220 great for small stuff. It will run 7018 rods but if that is your primary means get a DC machine otherwise great for price I built this cart with it.

First i'm no welder bought this as my first stick welder to learn on. Made some rod holders for my boat worked great. I'm running it off 110 with 1/16 rods and its hasnt tripped the breaker yet. Tryed some bigger rods that did but that was expected. For me working with 1/8 on the 110 I love it.

it is an amazing little welder and I only say little for its size....it can burn rod a 1/8 7018 rod on 110v and 220v it has got all the power you want... also the company is a very good with customer support... I had a shipping issue and damaged and they fix it right away with no hassle... very ...

I will simply verify all the good things others are saying about this welder. I'm a novice but it works great! I have had plenty of practice with it and had the opportunity to do a couple of projects. All turned out very well. Doesn't take much practice to get used to the settings versus the rods.
