I love this camera! It is a step up from point and shoot, although easy enough to quickly get those pictures you want. I took pictures on a recent trip out the car window and was amazed at the quality of pictures it took. The settings are easy to grasp and are necessary to take the best pictures....

Very nice camera for price, takes beautiful pictures. My only complaints are that a)It doesnt take very good motion pictures, even pictures of kids moving or dogs moving blurs the photos and b) this is the kind of camera you need to understand the features to get really good pics. A wonderful camera. I've taken photos in micro of a rainbow in a dragonflys eyes, and zoomed into craters on the moon. You just have to understand all the settings and how to use them the best. You cannot ask for a better point and shoot camera.

I got this nikon for christmas. The price is great. I've used it everyday since I've had it. I have taken almost 300 photos within a week of having it, and the batteries are still good. Its very easy to use, and fast to figure out. I'm really glad to have it. It's a great camera.
