I purchased a 12 place setting of this product. How gorgeous this was when I opened the box! It is so heavy and the pieces are large. You could use the soup bowls for small serving bowls. I love this dinnerware.

These plates surprisingly look JUST like they do in the picture! They are very heavy and durable instead of thin and fragile. I ordered two sets so I would have 8 place settings. I couldn't wait to use them! They are exactly what I wanted.

These are substantial dishes -- nice big plates, cups, etc. We are particularly happy with them because they look like the manufacturer saw are kitchen first and then designed the dinnerware to match. Bottom line -- we're thrilled.

The plates are really nice and I like them, however, my family doesn't really care for bowls, they are just too big. And the dinner plates are so big they won't fit in my upper cabinets. they are just about 1/4 to 1/2 inch too wide, so my cabinet doors don't shut. So I had to rearrange my cabinet...
