Excellent lantern. Beam goes very far. L.E.D. Uses AA batteries or large Hot Shot battery. AA batteries work very well. I have AA batteries in almost everything.

This flashlight uses either one 6 volt battery (very heavy) or four AA batteries (very light). The brightness of the light is identical regardless of which battery configuration you use. The light weight flashlight is a godsend to me.

This lamp has the advantage of either working with 4 small batteries or with one 12 volt (I think it's a 12 volt). In the last power outage, I put this on my side table snd aimed it at my white ceiling and it was enough light to read by.
