Although I was expecting it to have two drawers, as it states and appears, it only has one drawer with the top being cabinet space. It is a heavy piece of furniture and looks great when it's finally put together.

I dropped one star because the title "2-drawer Lateral File cabinet" is misleading. We thought it would have two lateral drawers for filing but it it only has one lateral drawer that has two rows of filing. Other than that, it is very good quality cabinet.
