The bowls are larger than I thought and are sturdy, which is a plus. The photo shows the true color. I've put them in the dishwasher twice with no visible fading, pitting or flaking.

Here is what these actually are: the box says "8 pk Berry Bowl" and that is what they are: not cereal bowls. They measure 4 3/4" wide and 3" deep, not 7.2'" wide and 2.2"deep as listed here. But they seem very durable and I think they'll last a long time. They are a good size to hold a messy sid...
