This is a great cookbook. It is thorough, with a wide range of recipes from the simple to the complex. It is well organized, with a good index. It suffers slightly from being old and dated but unless you are looking specifically for some new recipe, that should not matter.

Our family's favorite general cookbook. When they've updated this book, they've removed many of our favorite recipes and we had to buy an out of print edition to replace ours, which fell apart due to a poor binding.
