I got these for my toddlers room. They block the light out very well. It's not 100% blocked, but I would say 90% of sunlight is blocked. It was a good buy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Forget that this says kids, they look great in my living room! They block out so much light and keep my livingroom nice a cool during thr hot afternoon.
