I bought it for my basement and it will work. I was looking for a grey or beige but then i saw this and I liked that it was yellow to add a punch of color. It is not a yellow yellow but more of a goldish yellow. It is not very thick but I guess it's better than a cement floor

The rug looks pretty good and is soft. It's really discolored in many places. See picture, the white lines you see in the middle are not just from lighting or direction of the fibers. They are actual white lines. There an odor too but think that might go away in a few days..
