The last up to two years of consistent basketball playing. Machine washable when I wash inside out and the straps are tucked in. We are are second pair and my son says that they are supportive and fit great in sneakers

I like the comfort of the knit ankle brace the only negative thing is that I keep having to pull the knit " sock part" up..and re-adjusting the straps
