I won an ARC through The book Trib. This book was pretty graphic and has a lot of strong language in it. The characters are pretty believable and it is very excited thriller, just not strong enough for me to give it more than 3 stars.

This is an odd little book. On one hand its a fairly typical crime de noir. A world weary detective trying to save a prostitute from a couple Russian gangsters. The first book I have read by this author and I have to say that I am wanting to read the first novel featuring the Hayden Glass character. As some have said this book contains both violence and sex. While this didn't take away from the book, for me, it may bother some.
