this book has everything you need to beat the game although i tend to play the game using the only when i cannot figure out stuff i would only use the book if you get stuck at certin points in the game

Book is very helpful and it tells you how to get certain stars that you would not know about. So Far I have beaten the game. The First Few worlds I did not use the book because it was being shipped.. I just needed it to get and find the coins that I have missed.
