This pitcher was bought to sit in the refrigerator as a constant source of cold drinking water. It has a cover, is the right height, and is light in weight. As such it has proven to be just right for us. (To date we have not tried to prepare any fruit flavored beverages).

I use this daily to make lemonade. It's the perfect size and I like it except the top didn't fit securely. You need to hold it in place while pouring.

As noted above while the pitcher looks great, made with crystal clear plastic the problem I had with it is that the lid does not secure properly and pops off as soon as you try to place is on the pitcher. It should secure tightly. Do to this we will return the pitcher
