the switch is little temperamental what i mean is you have to play around with it to get it right but its a beautiful lamp and is very brite and no flicker with a/c comp going on and off its for my brother and if he is happy with it so am i G oD-SpeeD RaY

Dimmer/Off-On switch combined in on button it particularly nice technology. The switch is on lamp head which is great unlike the ones on the electric cord that you have to fumble around for. Well made sturdy lamp.
