I needed a high speed USB Flash Drive to transfer digital map updates into my Lincoln. This device saved me half the time (over 30 mins) of the file transfer/update. I did not need all the memory, but the price was right and it was available.

Never purchased a 1 tb flashdrive before. It worked perfectly for my nas and large file transfers. Did notice they generate quite a bit of heat, so id be curious to see if i blows up. Jk

I use the SanDisk to transfer data created in the field to another WD device. My only quibble is that it does have a case to place it in while in transit to keep debris out of the tip.
