Does not give off heat like other bulbs which is great in the kitchen and light is much brighter.

I purchased these LED bulbs to replace the "daylight" blue bulbs I had in my kitchen dining area in a hanging fixture. They are so much easier on the eyes and give things a softer, less austere, antiseptic feel. The atmosphere now feels warm and homey, instead of like a surgical O.R.

The lights put off a yellow glow. LEDS that are white (even soft white) should still be white.
