I was told by one of your customer service representatives that with would not work in a fiberglass shower because of the shower wall is about an inch away from the wall that the shower head comes out. It worked great because the escutcheon is over an inch deep and will cover that gap.

We absolutely loved it when we first bought it and installed it. After six months, the handheld stopped working (the button would no longer allow water to flow to the handheld)
