These are perfect for keeping shins safe while mountain biking! My son hates wearing pants to ride and these are the perfect compromise between shorts and pants because you get the freedom and feel of shorts but your legs are safe from scraping branches and rocks and slipped pedals!

I got this product a couple weeks ago and I am a college basketball player. The dual layer protection feels great and gives great protection from floor burns and much more. You can also feel it compressing and supporting your joints whereas other products made by other companies fails at doing so.

I use these for kickboxing and needed something to protect my knees from the burns I got doing knee drills on the bag. They work well to protect your shins during kick drills, too, but clearly not the entire shin.
