This unit is just slightly larger than a DVD, so it fits into my laptop case easily. I plugged it in, waited for windows to recognize it and then started loading CDs. Worked great right out of the box.!

This product is very sleek, lightweight, and reads quickly once the lid is closed on a CD/DVD. One small drawback, the USB cord is very short; but the situation is livable. The price was excellent! I highly recommend this product.
