Ugh. Stay away. Chandler left this as a half finished novel at the time he died and Spillian picked it up. Absolutely horrible.

I'm not really a fan of hard-boiled detective fiction, so I'm not sure if I'd like the print version of Poodle Springs. This BBC radio dramatization was quite enjoyable. I liked listening to the cast and the background music used. Philip Marlowe is determined to continue being a private detective...
