I use the growler for ice water at work. Its amazing how long the ice will stay. So far I have kept ice in it for 2 1/2 day.

It does seem to keep things hot when using. There is a word of caution (the reason for two stars). Its too easy for a user to get burned from hot liquids when opening the sealed lid. Pressure builds up inside and when you open it, it causes liquid to spray out. I feel this could be a safety issue...
