I have used the Lighting 5'6" for many years, purchased a new one this year as I am going more ultra light. Matched with a Pflueger Supreme 30 the combo is awesome on bream and crappie and will land the occasionally bass. The rod is very sensitive but has plenty of backbone for a slab.

I'm a big fan of the lightning shock, this regular spinning rod is sharp. One piece is a must for sensitivity, and I will not come apart at the wrong time. I parried this with a Revo Rocket 35 series, it's gorgeous.
