This is the high-speed blender that you need. You don't even need a tamper - this blender does a remarkable job of making smoothies and other blending jobs without surprises or issues. I can't say that the other leading manufacturers are making a bad product, but you can't go wrong with Blendtec....

This blender does it all, Chops/blends/mixes up everything. Ice is no issue at all either! . Perfect for smoothies and making tasty fruit alcoholic beverages. Don't bother with any other blender! Easy clean up, easy use - I wish I had gotten it sooner.

It is reallt powerful andmakes great smoothies. However when puttIng frozen fruits in it and turn it on it siunds and looks like it is going to jump off counter. They need to add sticky footing yo bottom! Otherwise love it!!
