these chairs are made well. Hubby is heavyset and they work great for him. The only problem we had was they did not send any screws to attach the seats. So we had to use our own.

These are heavy duty, solid, sturdy chairs. I have folks who are 300 lbs. or more in my family, and these are able to hold up to 400 lbs. I am very satisified.
