i have recently purchased replacement filter da29-00003g for my samsung refrigerator. the notch id different from the old one and the new one does not fit.

as a number of people have noted, these filters no longer fit. it seems samsung is unwilling to remedy the problem, so now we are stuck with a refrigerator that does not have a water filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i need a da29-00003b water filter. samsung says they are discontinued, but are replaced by filter da29-00003g. however, the "lugs" on the replacement model prevent installation!

its ridiculous that samsung changed the housing for the water filter and it doesnt fit. support your products, samsung! my refrigerator is from 2010
