I use this to store dry Cat food and so far it has worked great for me. I usually put a 7lb bag in each time and there is still plenty of room left for more. Also, the latch works good, my cats have knocked it off the counter before and it hasn't popped open.

I bought this container to store my rice. It fits a 15 pound bag of rice with no problem and it fits nicely in my pantry!! Very pleased with this purchase.
