More light than I imagined. Good for large areas, in a small area it is probably too much light.

Very well made and not plastic junk ... Also, I believe these are a true 8000 lumens .... I say this because I bought 3 other different brands of similar bulbs all claiming to be about 8000 lumens and I returned everything else because I was disappointed in their light output, but kept these.
