I needed a circular saw to cut up some hardwood sleeper for a garden project I am working on. As I have never used a circular saw before I cannot draw comparisons to other makes. All I can say is, it is easy to use and cuts through the hardwood sleepers as if they were not there

When I needed to replace my circular saw, I decided to add the Evolution saw to my other 2 Evolution products. I make a lot of use of scraps, so it is good to not have to worry about hidden nails. The saw seems pretty well put together and it is nice that the power cord is longer than my old saw.

When I seen people review these saws I thought they had to be pushing pretty hard to get it to cut. After getting one in and cutting some 3/16" steel it was not like that at all. I was able to cut the steel almost as fast as I can cut plywood with minimal pressure. Incredible!

I bought this for heavy DIY use and so far it has performed well. It is easy to adjust for depth with a simple lever. The blade cuts through nails and screws easily, Three very small negative points The finger bolt for clamping the side guide would be better with a larger easier to grip head...

This saw is a great all purpose saw. Seemed heavy at first but my last saw was smaller so was lighter. It's easy to put the blade in and only takes a few minutes to start cutting from when you first open the box. I think this saw is worth the money you pay for it.
