This suit in a 1X would not even fit a regular size 14 - also no mention was made of boned breast support, which it does have but also has no relationship to size.

What a disappointment. This suit is beautiful in person, and the quality looks good. Too bad it was three sizes (at least) too small. I always buy Catalina so ordered this one in the same size I always get... I couldn't even get this one over my KNEES let alone over my hips.

I bought two different sizes, 1x and a 2x. Usually I wear a medium or large in Catalina. After spending an hour getting the bathing suit on, it was too short for me and I am only 5'1. The underwire sit about 5 inches away from my breasts and the crotch was up to my belly button.

I ordered by usual size, but as soon as I pulled it out of the bag, I knew there was no way it would fit. Sure enough... I could get it to my thighs and that was it. Even my husband, as a joke, tried it on and he couldn't get it up his MUCH slimmer thighs either. It did make for a good laugh, but...

After reading the reviews I ordered a size bigger. It was still way too small and not tall enough for my body. I'm sorely disappointed because I thought this was such a cute pattern.
