BMW has specific oil specifications. Castrol European formula meets and exceeds these specs with it being a long life oil LL-01 allowing me to go 7500-8000k miles before oil changes. This oil beats Penzoil Euro-L which is BMWs current synthetic. I'll stick to Castrol just like the oil cap says!

Great product, especially for older engines with high mileage . I have a GMC Sierra with 250,000 miles and this oil gives me instant oil pressure with the 5W and the 40W gives me a little added pressure to compensate for the worn parts. And being fully synthetic helps decrease wear and tear.

I wish Walmart would put these on sale mOre often for around $25 kinda pricey with the taxing all said and done while other full synthetic brands can offer the low rate.
