A worthy follow-up to Equations of Life. Simon Morden proves he is not a one hit writer and continues to develop both the characters and the world introduced in the first volume. To fully enjoy the work, you need to suspend a lot of belief. Just go with it and enjoy.

A good read, but suffers slightly from essentially being one long "chase" by Petrovich across London. Straight onto the final one in the series tomorrow. This is the second in the original trilogy, and in my view should be read after the first, although the fourth book worked ok as a standalone.

Just as good/madcap/zany/violent as the last one. Poor Sam has now married his nun, much more to his surprise than discovering that his physics has worked afterall. It's been six months, and he's patched up, healed up and lif ein the city is very slowly heading back to what he thinks of as normal...
