This waffle iron is wonderful ... do not try to take. the plates out until it cools done .. very hot .. wipe clean with a paper towel or damp cloth after it cools down

Love this waffle iron. The size is right for us--it's light, and I like the removable grills. So what if a little condensation gets inside--tip it and the drops come out.
