Wasn't sure what to expect about the leather and thumb guard when purchasing. Comes stiff out of the box. I couldn't be happier with the quality of this Mitt. Our ten year old loves the built in thumb guard. Would recommend for youth Catcher's 10/10 times.

Great glove. I have twin 10 year old boys. One has much bigger hands than the other, but both are able to use it. I think they will likely get about 2 or 3 years out of it. Feels like a quality glove especially for the price. I would recommend for ages 8 to 12.
