We leave it up in the doorway to the kitchen, give it a pull frequently. And the kid tests herself all of the time. Must have real doorframe with a couple of inches of clearance above, and of course you can't close the door if there is one. Comes off in a second if you need to, but we never do.

The pull up bar I received was faulty in the way it was manufactured. The holes to accommodate the bolts that secure the straight bar to the curved bars were round instead of square which prevented the bolts from seating properly. The square holes were on the curved bar instead. Also, your doo...
