This product worked perfectly for our deck. We wanted to see the lake view and any other railing configuration would have partially blocked that view. By using this product and other hardware we saved a huge amount of money by DIY! Highly recommend, will buy again for the next railing project !

The cable is 316 as advertised. I have installed all 500 feet on a bunky treehouse and it has stood up to 12 months of weather (Ontario, Canada) without any signs of corrosion. Make sure you buy a quality cable cutter or use an angle grinder as it is quite hard steel.

We used the Mophorn Stainless Steel Cable Railing 1/8"x 500ft, Wire Rope 316 Marine Grade, Braided Aircraft Cable for our new porch/deck. Live on the water and didn't want a heavy wooden railing so we could sit there and still enjoy looking at the water. It's great! Google DYI cable railing!
