It is important to pay attention to the orientation of the pump as stated in the instruction manual. I used it as a hot water pump. Connected directly to a 120V outlet. Works great. No issues.

Initially it works well, virtually silent - easy to install - seems to be a quality unitmy last pump lasted 25 years going 24 hours a day! Lets see how this one is doing in a few years!The garden hose adaptors to 1/2" NPT were a piece of junk and I replaced them with good brass ones
