Had this knife a while and it holds up well. Have filleted crappie, flounder, spades, striper, and trout. The knife stays sharp especially if you run it thru the built in sharpener every few fish. The non slip grip is great.

I cleaned and filleted over 50+ trout and redfish with this knife and it is still working fine...I would want a 9 inch if I were cleaning more redfish..
