Great quality fry pan, like one you'd use at home, but with a folding handle.Some people might even think it's too heavy for ultralight backpacking. The base of the pan is thick, for even heat distribution.

This is a nice little set. Great quality frying pan. Neat little solid plates, cutting board, sporks are thin but useful. Beware not to stir hot food with them or they will change shape. It is a great, well thought out kit. It packs up small and I intend to use it for car and motorcycle camping. I can't wait to cook and enjoy my first meal with it in the great outdoors. The skillet might be the best one I own. It is definitely a top-notch item. Everything else seems sturdy enough...
