I was very excited about this design because it easily sits with the business end up off the counter. However, the first time I used it, the edge melted. Medium heat cooking sunny side up eggs. That's unacceptable. Wish I had kids so they could use them in the sandbox or something.

Spatula melted first time I used it. Ruined the food. DO NOT BUY. It is not an "inexpensive" tool if you cannot even use it once. So now I know Farberware quality is sub-par.

I was given this spatula to rate. I had no problems with it doing what it's suppose to do. I've used it a couple of times so far and love the handle which stands up so the "business" end isn't on the counter. I love that! Nylon works great in non-stick pans but should never be left too close ...
