Touching story about a grandmother and a grandchild living far away. I usually like Bryan Collier's illustrations, but I found the mix of photo faces and painted faces jarring here - especially the child's parents.

A great book to help children find ways to relate to someone who may be far away. It can be used as a tool in the classroom to help us learn that although we may be far away or in different places there are still things that connect us.
