Abu Garcia 6’ Max X Fishing Rod and Reel Spinning Combo

First time out and the rod snapped after the second eye. Small bass and only running a ned rig, which in my opinion, shouldn't have been enough to snap a rod. I would not recommend this rod/reel.

Bought this rod cause I heard nothing it good things about the brand loved using it casted smooth far and accurate but snapped off when a pike turned and ran extremely disappointed only had the rod a few months and caught maybe 30 fish with it

I can't believe Abu Garcia put their name in this rod. It snapped on a 2 lb bass the first time I took it out! Looking at the other reviews, this is a super common problem with these. Avoid at all cost!
