got this reel a couple of weeks ago and so far I'm very pleased with it. The Conflict II is much lighter than the original Conflict. Nice smooth reel with a great drag system. I have the 3000 model that has 15 lbs of drag. I intend to buy another one soon

Had my Conflict for a few years and have caught some great fish on this reel. It's one of my boat rods and the one I hand out to friends because i know it can handle anything folks can put to it. I strongly recommend this reel to anyone who wants a great reel at a really good price.
