We've been using it for a few weeks now in our home gym. It has been a great compromise between the high density foam boxes and a wood-only box. We are considering getting the smaller box as well, but the 20x18x16 is a great size as a starter, all round use box. Quality of construction is good.

The box is very well made- a bit of a hybrid with wood and foam. Compared to the wood only plyo boxes, this one is padded with foam and actually provides cushioning. Compared to pure foam boxes, this one is firmer and much more stable, as foam ones tend to naturally crush-in with weight. I am he...

i was worried about the wood core because i thought that might make it too rigid but it does still have a squishy exterior so when i fall on my face it doesnt hurt.
