My old Kidde Alarms needed to be replace afer ten (10) year. They probably would have given us more time but ti us it was not worth the risk. Wow, have these products chqnged in that short period. The new devices have new features that give us the status of our home right on our smart phones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy the added security of these smart AC/DC smoke alarms by Kidde. They are easy to install and provide air quality monitoring as well. Better safe than sorry. I have these on every floor on multiple rooms.
