I have used all brands of line counter reels and the Fathom II are as good as it gets. Great drags and smooth retrieves. Great for chasing King salmon with lead core, copper or wire diver set ups.

First night with new cranked in 24# flathead with ease! It's easy to use and the lever, bait clicker and basically the whole reel is build really well. It's smooth and can't wait for more fish to be caught on this reel.
