Perfect! Tall enough to keep my white cat out of the fireplace. I have a tall brick one and the screen goes up to the intake nicely. Keeps kitty and his white paws out. It is sturdy enough to not easily knock over and easily conforms to the space. Very happy with it.

Looks very nice and works well, but it is metal so it gets very hot, Be careful when moving it to tend the fire. We have a large fireplace and it covers the entire opening.
