Bought this about 3 weeks ago and he's been using for about a week. Went through the ok to do the first cleaning as recommended. Now I get a power light, but's the unit won't actually turn on. The manual is pretty much useless, doesn't really tell you anything.

This humidifier is very disappointing. It overheats after just a couple of days of use, requiring disassembly, cleaning, and soaking the heating element in vinegar. I've had many humidifiers, and I've never seen one require as much maintenance as this one. I regret buying it.
