This is an excellent introduction to parliamentary procedure. It's partner, Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised, 11th edition, is needed to fill in the details, but is very long and works best as a reference book.

I wish I was a member of the British parliament. Seriously. Back when Tony Blair was prime minister, I used to watch C-Span at midnight so I could watch him do the Prime Minister Question at the House of Commons every week. RONR Geek!

Not being familiar with Robert's Rules of Order and seeing the size of the official rule book was daunting. This condensed version is very helpful and is of value to anyone needing the basics.
