I have 4 Suncast hose hideaway for 20 years and I live in desert. Sun is so strong and so dry. But they lasted this long telles they make a great hose hideaway. I don't abuse, wash them,wipe them and they will last. I decided to replaced all of them for a bigger size even though my garden hoses...

I can't figure out how to attach hose to inside plastic piece and not have it get so tight it kinks as soon as it is turned. Is there a way to feed that end thru something to keep start of hose straight and not get kinked? Do I need to have hose on so water feeds into it to keep it from kinking up?

We have a different Suncast where the lid opens completely and so it feels really flimsy, especially when trying to roll back the hose. This version has a better design and feels better and it looks better too!
